Job Details
REGISTERED NURSE - EXTENDED RECOVERY OBSERVATION UNIT
3 12s, 7PM-7AM, Monday-Friday
*NO WEEKENDS, NO CALL!*
An "Extended Recovery Unit" (ERU) is a hospital area designed to provide close monitoring and care to patients who have undergone complex surgical procedures that are more involved than typical day surgery, but don't require a full inpatient admission; essentially allowing for extended recovery observation while still considered an outpatient, often with the goal of discharging them home the same day or early the next morning.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Experience in an ERU preferred, will train Med/Surg experienced nurses!
- Availability to work nights, 7p-7a
- Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- ACLS, BLS certified or willing to obtain
- Active, unencumbered Georgia or Multi-State RN license required OR willing to obtain licensure
