The RN Unit Supervisor will oversee clinical operations on an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with regulatory standards. This position blends clinical expertise, staff mentorship, and operational oversight in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.

- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the nursing staff including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all nursing staff adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Coordinate and direct patient care, including patient assessments and discharge planning.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement improvement strategies as needed.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and administration to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Promote a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement within the nursing team.
- Handle and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license (active and in good standing)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team management skills
- Familiarity with EMR documentation and regulatory compliance
