We are currently seeking a highly skilled Permanent Setup / Try Out Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. This exciting role involves working with a variety of mechanical systems, installations, die, rolls, presses, form, and machines. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply their expertise in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment, contributing to the design, setup, and maintenance of our cutting-edge equipment.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Setup / Try Out Technician, you will be responsible for:
1. Setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of mechanical equipment, including die, rolls, presses, form, and machines.
2. Conducting regular inspections and performing necessary adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
3. Troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring the continuity of operations.
4. Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring it meets all safety and operational requirements.
5. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions that improve equipment efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Documenting all setup, maintenance, and repair activities, contributing to our knowledge base and facilitating continuous improvement.
7. Training other team members on equipment setup and operation, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
8. Adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Setup / Try Out Technician position, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
2. Proven experience with mechanical systems, installations, die, rolls, presses, form, and machines.
3. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way.
5. A strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines.
6. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
7. A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
