Job Details


  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's safety programs and initiatives to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Deliver safety training programs to employees and management.
  • Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure safety training is included in employee onboarding and ongoing training programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and compile reports for management.
  • Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal safety regulations and ensure company compliance.
  • Liaise with external bodies such as OSHA and local authorities on safety-related matters.
Implement and maintain HACCP and GMP standards across the organization.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure safety protocols are adhered to during all stages of production.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety management role within the Engineering industry.
  • Certified in HACCP and GMP.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (bilingual).
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively deliver safety training programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
  • Proven experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and safety management software.
