Job Details
Our client is looking for someone who can act as the primary point of contact for clients from first engagement through ongoing support. You'll be responsible for growing the territory, managing the full sales cycle, and working cross-functionally to ensure clients are well taken care of.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
Identify and pursue new business through networking, cold calling, and other lead-generation strategies.
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy.
Leverage product knowledge to recommend solutions tailored to client needs.
Respond to client inquiries and provide quotes, credit terms, and bid specifications.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms; prepare and submit orders.
Coordinate with purchasing, production, quality, R&D, and marketing teams to ensure smooth, accurate order fulfillment.
Report regularly to senior leadership on account performance, sales activity, and pipeline status.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Deliver product presentations and proposals to clients and prospects.
Monitor market trends and share insights with leadership.
What Our Client Is Looking For
5+ years of sales experience specifically within the food manufacturing/processing industry (required).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong sales and negotiation ability.
Solid understanding of the products being sold.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated success building and maintaining client relationships.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
