Role Overview:
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing strategic and tactical plans to achieve sales objectives within your region. Your primary focus will be to sustain and grow the sales and profitability of our products/services, identify and develop new business opportunities, support marketing efforts, and expand product knowledge among consumers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed assigned sales and profit objectives within your territory.
  • Strategic Contributions: Provide regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans, budgets,
and reviews; prepare and execute action plans across the territory.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead sales calls, presentations, demonstrations, and proposals related to our products and
programs.
  • Customer Solutions: Direct support resources in analyzing customers' business needs and developing tailored
solutions.
  • Employee Management: Train, coach, counsel, and discipline employees in the assigned region; communicate
job expectations and review job contributions.
  • Reporting: Provide timely reporting of account and territory management activities to the National Sales
Manager.
  • Account Planning: Drive and coordinate regular account planning sessions.
  • Revenue Protection: Protect and increase a profitable revenue stream with current accounts and seek expansion
opportunities.
  • Professional Representation: Maintain a commitment to the company's sales policies and procedures; represent
the company professionally and uphold the code of ethics.
  • Competitor Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of competitors and their presence in the territory; identify new
business opportunities.
  • Trade Spending: Evaluate trade spending and implement promotions/incentives to achieve regional objectives.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate customer requirements and standards, identify opportunities for
improvement, and drive change.


Minimum Requirements:
  • EDUCATION: BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, FOOD MARKETING, OR A RELATED FIELD.
  • EXPERIENCE: AT LEAST 3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN MERCHANDISING OR FOOD/BEVERAGE SALES OR
RELATED EXPERIENCE.
  • SKILLS: STRONG VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS, DIRECT PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT SKILLS,
AND STRONG COMPUTER SKILLS (MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE).
  • TRAVEL: FLEXIBILITY AND ABILITY TO TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY (UP TO 60-75% OF THE TIME).
  • LICENSES: VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
  • SAFETY: ABILITY TO WORK IN A SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • MOVEMENT: MAY BE REQUIRED TO STAND, BEND, TWIST OCCASIONALLY.
  • LIFTING: FREQUENTLY LIFT UP TO 20 POUNDS AND OCCASIONALLY UP TO 50 POUNDS.
  • PUSHING/PULLING: OCCASIONALLY PUSH/PULL CARTS CONTAINING PRODUCTS UP TO 100 LBS.
  • WALKING AND REACHING: REGULAR WALKING AND REACHING, USING BOTH HANDS AND ARMS.
