An established and respected HVAC manufacturer’s representative firm is seeking a Sales Engineer to join its dynamic team serving the greater Philadelphia market.
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the technical and commercial bridge between engineers, contractors, and manufacturers—supporting project designs, driving specifications, and providing best-in-class solutions across a wide range of HVAC applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, architects, and building owners.
- Provide technical guidance and equipment selections for energy-efficient HVAC systems.
- Promote and support the specification and sale of HVAC equipment lines represented by the firm.
- Collaborate with design engineers to assist in system design and application of HVAC equipment.
- Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to identify opportunities and provide accurate proposals.
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation through closing and post-sale support.
- Track projects through various stages from design to construction.
- Attend industry events, trainings, and manufacturer meetings to stay current on trends and technologies.
- Provide feedback to manufacturers and internal teams on customer needs and market trends.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent HVAC industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC sales, manufacturer representation, or mechanical engineering/design.
- Strong technical understanding of comfort air systems and energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
- Familiarity with the Philadelphia mechanical contracting and engineering community is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HVAC selection software.
