Our organization, a leading player in the Engineering industry, is seeking a dynamic, driven, and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Machine Tools, Prospecting, Cold Calling, Account Management, Lead Generation, and overall a strong acumen for building relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining relationships with current clients and building and maintaining relationships with new clients. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the needs of specific industrial clients.
2. Utilize your knowledge of capital equipment, CNC, and machine tools to provide clients with the best solutions for their needs.
3. Lead the prospecting and lead generation initiatives, utilizing a combination of cold calling and other innovative methods to attract new clients.
4. Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
5. Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure client needs and expectations are met.
6. Provide technical support and training to customers, effectively communicating complex engineering concepts and solutions.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and competitor activities.
8. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
9. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales engineering, specifically within the machine tool sector.
3. Proven track record of success in capital equipment sales, prospecting, cold calling, account management, and lead generation.
4. Strong knowledge of CNC and machine tools.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and effectively convey technical information.
