Our company is a leading player in the manufacturing industry, and we are seeking a seasoned and ambitious Permanent Sales Manager to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our growth while working with a diverse range of materials including plastics, aluminum, metal, glass, ceramic, rubber, and composite materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine shop operations, injection molding, and other molding techniques. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, you will be instrumental in driving our sales strategy and fostering relationships with our clients to ensure their needs are met with our high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area or product line.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Manage to maintain customer relationships and ensure customer loyalty through excellent customer service.
  • Stay current on industry trends and market conditions.
  • Coordinate with the marketing department to ensure the company’s marketing and sales strategies are aligned.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, setting a clear agenda for success.
  • Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record in sales growth and meeting sales targets.
  • In-depth understanding of the manufacturing industry and its sales principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in working with manufacturing tools and materials such as plastics, aluminum, machine shop, metal, glass, ceramic, injection molding, molding, composite, rubber.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field.
