We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Sales Manager to join our thriving Engineering firm. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has a knack for driving sales and building successful business relationships. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our sales territory, leveraging your expertise in B2B sales, account management, and engineering to maximize our market presence and profitability.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory and segment.
2. Identify and capture new business opportunities to ensure the growth of our product portfolio.
3. Manage, nurture and grow relationships with existing accounts while closing new ones to increase the company's market share.
4. Oversee and manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to close, using CRM systems to analyze sales metrics and identify areas of improvement.
5. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and set performance goals accordingly.
6. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the market.
7. Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product details and technical specifications to effectively sell to potential clients.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the Engineering industry.
3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
4. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Strong understanding of the sales process, with expertise in B2B sales and account management.
6. In-depth knowledge of CNC, machining, and territory management.
7. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
8. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
10. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and manage multiple accounts efficiently.
