We are in search of a dynamic, results-driven Permanent Sales Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, implementing strategies to expand our customer base, and ensuring our team meets and exceeds sales targets. This role requires a strong understanding of the insurance industry and a proven track record in sales management. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a natural leader, and has an unwavering commitment to achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team to ensure they meet their individual and team targets.
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and analyze sales data to forecast future sales trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, insurance providers, and industry associations.
  • Manage the sales budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively to achieve ROI.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to identify new market opportunities and improve lead generation efforts.
  • Conduct regular sales team meetings to align on objectives, share best practices, review progress, and address challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales in the insurance industry in MN.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving sales growth.
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in hiring, training, and coaching a sales team.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market research.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Insurance sales licensure or willingness to obtain licensure within a specified timeframe.
  • Ability to travel as needed. Position is fully remote in MN
