Job Details
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our winning team! This position will cover the Northeast sales territory. To be successful in this position, you need to have sales experience in a manufacturing environment, as well as automation. You'll be maximizing and growing revenue and profits selling our solutions to existing customers and acquiring new business. The Regional Sales Manager role is also supported by Inside Sales and Business Development roles.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and implement effective direct and partner sales strategies; forecast, report, and keep sales cases updated in the CRM; drive issues to achieve sales objectives.
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be available and responsive to customers’ needs. Report market needs to product lines and management.
- Manage to meet/exceed monthly, trimester, and annual sales targets to increase profitable sales and build long-term relationships with customers.
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Meet regularly with existing customers, partners, and new prospects in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs and position company's offering to meet surfaced needs.
- Execute negotiations with customers and partners to close contracts.
- Continuously expand customer understanding and use of our company's offerings and capabilities.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Hungry for business, growth, and success both personally and for our company.
- Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment, as well as an automation solution or system sales business.
- Technical know-how: experience in sales in the manufacturing automation industry and processes and/or technology/metal industry and/or machine tool building and/or robotics industry.
- Specific knowledge of ERP, scheduling, automation, tool management, and program management in a manufacturing environment.
- A Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree from an accredited university is preferred, but not required.
