Role Summary
We are seeking a Sales Operations Specialist who is detail-oriented, organized, and hands-on. This role is responsible for managing outbound shipments, processing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and serving as a key point of contact between our sales team and third-party logistics partners (3PL). You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations that directly support revenue, customer satisfaction, and team success.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Order Processing
Generate sales invoices and allocate inventory to orders across assigned territories.
Manage pro forma invoicing, issue payment links, apply payments, and follow up on unpaid orders.
Support sales team with updates, exceptions, and special operational needs.
Assist with special operational and cross-functional projects.
Outbound Logistics & Fulfillment
Dispatch orders via API to 3PL partners; manage LTL batches and coordinate shipments.
Act as the day-to-day liaison with our warehouse and shipping partners.
Arrange deliveries, white glove services, and customer pickups.
Oversee domestic and international shipping processes, including export documentation.
Maintain compliance with partner-specific packaging and shipping requirements.
Returns & Inventory Management
Manage product returns and claims; inspect returned items and update stock status.
Create inventory transfers and adjustments to ensure ongoing stock accuracy.
Support logistics projects related to inventory integrity and warehouse operations.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in sales operations, logistics coordination, or supply chain support.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management required.
Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is essential.
Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP/order management systems.
Strong understanding of shipping workflows, 3PL processes, and international logistics.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; thrives in a fast-paced, detail-heavy environment.
Collaborative, clear communicator with a service-oriented mindset.
Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and a hands-on, team-driven culture.
