Are you a dynamic, experienced, and motivated professional seeking an exciting opportunity in the construction industry? If so, we are looking for you to join our team as a Sales/Project Manager: Roofing. This is a thrilling opportunity to work on a variety of commercial roofing projects, where you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service department, managing projects, and supervising job sites. You will also be responsible for the overall success of each project, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Sales/Project Manager: Roofing, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
2. Managing roofing projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
3. Supervising job sites, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and regulations.
4. Acting as a site superintendent, coordinating and communicating with all parties involved in the project, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
5. Leading and managing a team of professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
6. Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability.
7. Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Sales/Project Manager: Roofing position, candidates must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry, specifically in commercial roofing.
2. A proven track record in project management, job site management, and operations management.
3. Experience in a leadership role, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
4. A strong understanding of the construction process, including materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
7. A commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.
8. Proficiency in B2B sales, with a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
9. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
10. Certifications in Project Management or Construction Management would be an added advantage.
