Job Details

Role & Responsibilities-
  • Generally focused on one project and particular work package at a time. Works with project leadership to understand commitments and priorities.
  • Tickets are assigned and the Engineer writes low level design to review with Technical Lead.
  • Tickets are updated as it moves through the workflow. Tickets are kept up to date and current.
  • Understands when to escalate an issue or blocker and ask for assistance
  • Is able to effectively communicate with peers
  • Sets high standards for personal conduct and work
  • Continues to invest personally in ongoing development of job knowledge
  • Works collaboratively with team members to plan, size, deliver, demo, and participate in retrospectives each sprint;
  • Supports a climate and working environment sensitive to the needs of all team members;
  • Proposes changes to work approaches and processes within the applicable regulations, rules and policies of the Agency to contribute effectively to the team’s work;
  • Understands and supports the decision of the team or project leadership/Technical Lead even when it is not his/her preferred solution.


Requirements-
  • 3+ years experience in developing Salesforce solutions.
  • Capable of configuring Salesforce based on customer requirements. Configuration can include, but is not limited to, creating custom objects and fields, page layouts, profiles and permission sets, process builder and sharing rules.
  • Able to write code on the Salesforce platform such as Lightning components, scheduled or batch apex and triggers
  • Understands Salesforce platform limits and best practices for writing code that runs on Salesforce.
  • Familiar with Salesforce DX, Salesforce packages and basic DevOps practices
  • Fundamental understanding of APIs and how they can be integrated into Salesforce
  • Experience with Platform Events, Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and Salesforce Communities a bonus
