Job Details
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior State and Local Tax (SALT) Senior. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Qualifications:
CPA eligible or possess a JD with a successful passage of the bar exam.
3 to 7 years of direct tax experience, with a focus on state franchise and income tax.
Currently conduct 100% review of state income and franchise tax returns.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of state tax laws and a proven track record in conducting nexus studies.
Conduct tax research and enjoy preparing well-articulated memorandums.
Additional Opportunities:
Opportunity to engage in consulting work, though the primary focus will be on compliance activities.
Requirements:
Candidates must have daily access to a vehicle.
Willingness to commute to client locations and all three of our offices on a regular basis.
