We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Permanent Sanitation Manager to join our team for the 6p-4a shift. This is an integral role within our manufacturing industry, where you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity, where you will play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), BRC, USDA, FDA, Safe Quality Food (SQF), and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Sanitation Manager, you will:

1. Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive sanitation programs that comply with SSOP, BRC, USDA, FDA, and SQF standards.
2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of our manufacturing facilities.
3. Train and supervise sanitation staff, ensuring they are well-versed in all necessary procedures and regulations.
4. Work closely with other department heads to develop and implement sanitation strategies that enhance productivity and efficiency.
5. Respond to sanitation emergencies, determining the best course of action to prevent damage and ensure safety.
6. Maintain detailed records of sanitation activities, including any issues or incidents, and report these to senior management.
7. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and regulations, ensuring our sanitation procedures are always up-to-date and compliant.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Sanitation Manager role will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in Spanish, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Extensive knowledge of SSOP, BRC, USDA, FDA, SQF, and LOTO procedures.
4. Proven experience in developing and implementing sanitation programs.
5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise staff effectively.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to sanitation emergencies.
7. A strong commitment to safety and cleanliness, with a keen eye for detail.
8. The ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
9. A high level of physical fitness, as this role may require lifting heavy items and working in potentially hazardous conditions.
