We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Sanitation Supervisor to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our sanitation program. This role is critical to ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our production environment, and meeting our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in waste management, supervisory skills, cleaning procedures, and chemical handling. This position requires a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage the sanitation program in line with company and regulatory standards.
2. Supervise and train sanitation staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
3. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to sanitation and safety standards.
4. Oversee waste management procedures, ensuring waste is disposed of in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
5. Maintain an inventory of sanitation supplies and order as necessary.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure sanitation standards are met across all areas of the facility.
7. Respond promptly to sanitation emergencies or issues and implement corrective actions.
8. Maintain accurate records of all sanitation activities and prepare reports as required.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new products in sanitation and waste management.
10. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding sanitation in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation supervisory role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of waste management, cleaning procedures, and chemical handling.
3. Proven supervisory skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team.
4. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal sanitation regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address sanitation issues promptly and effectively.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
10. Certification in sanitation or waste management is a plus.
