Rapidly growing technology transformation company located in multiple East Coast markets is seeking multiple Security Solution Architects for fully remote, direct hire positions.

The Solution Engineer is a highly skilled and experienced customer-focused technical sales professional who provides in-depth technical information and specific design/implementation guidance to multiple customers. The Solutions Engineer is an expert in one or more technical specializations. They provide architectural guidance for customers across the product portfolio, including products and services from OEM partners. The Solutions Engineer is responsible for pre-sales engineering activities including:
1) identifying customer’s challenges and proposing technology solutions,
2) engaging as the primary client technical resource on sales engagements and
3) achieving and maintaining OEM certifications in their area of expertise.
4) Provides the initial input for proposals and statements of work. Validates that the completed proposal (SOW, BOM, LOE, etc.) aligns with customer desired outcomes.
5) Demonstrates technical knowledge and consultative skills, while working with customers.
6) Uses professional level presales engineering skills and in-depth knowledge in at least one specialization, such as, Data Center, Collaboration, Security, Microsoft Modern Workplace, Cloud or Route/Switch/Wireless.
7) Has knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications.

They are both technical and business focused, with the ability to articulate technology roadmaps linked to customer business outcomes. As necessary, they work with Design Architects, and Solution Engineering peers, to validate the best solution to address customer requirements.

Job Details
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree desired
- 8+ years Security Engineer work experience. Prior experience in a "pre-Sales" OR Security Solutions Engineer role desired
- Experience with Firewall’s, and other security appliances (web proxy, email security) etc.
- In depth understanding of vendor portfolios and their alignment to security frameworks, architectures, and mission outcomes (e.g. Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft, Z-Scaler, etc.)
- ITILv4 Foundation certification is a plus
- Active and verified professional level OEM certifications (ex. Cisco CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, CISSP, GAIC / SANS type training courses related to the job role a plus etc...)
