We are currently seeking a highly-skilled Self-Perform APM/Project Manager to join our healthcare construction team. This role is integral to our commitment to providing high-quality construction services for healthcare facilities. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in commercial building and construction, particularly within the healthcare sector. Responsibilities:
As a Self-Perform APM/Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of healthcare construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing the planning, design, and construction of healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with OSHPD Healthcare Construction Projects requirements.
2. Coordinating and managing project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals.
3. Reviewing and approving project plans and specifications, ensuring they meet the needs of the client and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
4. Managing project budgets and schedules, and ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with these.
5. Implementing and maintaining quality control processes, to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
6. Resolving any issues or problems that arise during the construction process, and ensuring that all work is completed to the satisfaction of the client.
7. Regularly reporting on project progress to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in commercial construction, with a particular focus on healthcare facilities.
Specific qualifications include:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on healthcare facilities.
2. Extensive knowledge of OSHPD Healthcare Construction Projects requirements. ONLY a must in certain locations.
3. Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, from planning through to completion.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage diverse project teams.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
7. A commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality construction projects.
8. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
