Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Perform monthly general ledger closing procedures, including account analysis and reconciling subledger activities
  • Prepare journal entries, including but not limited to the following: expense accruals, fixed asset activities, prepaid expenses, payroll-related activities, and intercompany transactions
  • Assist in analysis, reporting, and variance reviews against prior month and budget
  • Prepare Financial Statements
  • Aid in other accounting processes, such as sales tax management and income tax estimates
  • Treasury Management
  • Perform various inventory-related accounting tasks such as reconciling inventory between systems, monitoring inventory cost/valuation, and analyzing slow-moving/excess & obsolete inventory
  • Perform Sales Reconciliations
  • Prepare departmental reports and ad-hoc analysis as needed
  • Support operational accounting functions (AR/AP) on an as needed basis
  • Assist in year-end audit

Qualifications:
  • Must be comfortable with a primarily onsite schedule besides Wednesdays (remote)
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 4+ years in Finance/Accounting role
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP software, NetSuite is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, familiar with internal control system and procedures
  • Experience with financial closing, financial reporting, fixed assets, cash & balance sheet efficiency, account reconciliation
