We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to take on the role of a Senior Accountant. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will play a crucial role in driving the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial reports, conducting detailed financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports, and records to reflect the company's financial status.
2. Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with regulatory and company policies.
3. Conducting detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies.
4. Managing capital calls and distribution notices.
5. Maintaining the general ledger and conducting account reconciliations.
6. Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process.
7. Collaborating with the finance team and other departments to streamline financial operations.
8. Participating in financial audits and implementing audit recommendations.
9. Providing financial advice to management to aid in decision making.
10. Staying updated on the latest financial regulations and industry trends.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial services, with a focus on capital calls, distribution notices, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
3. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry practices.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide accurate financial reports.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding company values and ethical standards.
