Are you an experienced Senior Accountant with a knack for financial analysis and a passion for manufacturing? We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Accountant. This role is integral to our financial operations and requires a deep understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing both accounts payable and receivable, producing accurate financial statements, and utilizing Microsoft Excel for complex financial tasks. Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

1. Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with GAAP at all times.
2. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing detailed reports to senior management.
3. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Implement and manage effective and streamlined financial policies and processes.
5. Use Microsoft Excel to perform complex financial forecasting, data analysis, and financial modeling.
6. Liaise with external auditors during audits, providing all necessary information and documentation.
7. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and decision making.
8. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial projections.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification would be a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including using functions, creating spreadsheets, and using financial software applications.
5. Strong experience with financial analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and preparation of financial statements.
6. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data.
7. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.
9. Self-motivated, with a high level of integrity and a keen interest in the manufacturing industry.
