- Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of hospitality assets, including monthly close and financial reporting
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements for monthly, quarterly, and year-end periods
- Record and review journal entries related to depreciation, payroll, benefits, management fees, taxes, and accruals
- Oversee cash management, reconciliations, and FF&E reserves while ensuring compliance with financial agreements
- Handle royalty accruals, franchise invoicing, and sales tax filings
- Collaborate with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and investor reporting
- Support operations leaders by providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance
- Assist with construction and capital improvement accounting, including loan draw requests and tracking
- Prepare investor reports and manage quarterly cash distributions to ownership groups
- Mentor junior accounting team members and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience; hospitality or public accounting experience is a strong plus
- CPA certification (completed or in progress highly preferred)
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret financial agreements, contracts, and loan documents
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and accounting systems (Sage, M3, Paycom, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Valid drivers license for occasional travel
