As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including but not limited to preparing financial statements, managing billing and collections, and conducting statistical analysis. Need to have 5 yrs experience working in law firm.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with established schedules.
2. Manage billing and collections processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment receipt.
3. Prepare and review expense reports, ensuring they comply with company policies and procedures.
4. Record journal entries for income, expenses, and other financial transactions.
5. Assist in the development and calculation of budgets, providing detailed analysis and feedback to management.
6. Conduct statistical analysis and prepare probability statements to support financial decision-making.
7. Manage ACH and wire transfers, ensuring funds are accurately and securely transferred.
8. Handle unapplied trusts, ensuring these are properly accounted for in financial records.
9. Utilize financial software such as Elite, Aderant, and ERP systems to streamline accounting processes.
10. Participate in ERP implementation projects, providing input and expertise to ensure successful deployment.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within a law firm or legal industry.
3. Proficient in accounting software, particularly Elite, Aderant, and ERP systems.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including billing and collections, expense reporting, financial statement preparation, and budgeting.
5. Experience in statistical analysis and probability statements.
6. Familiarity with ACH and wire transfers.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
