Immediate Hybrid Consulting Need - Senior Accountant w/ Power BI and Quorum (Post Implementation Support)

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Direct and coordinate all financial planning and budget management functions.
3. Utilize Power BI to analyze complex financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and to project a financial probability.
4. Perform data cleanup tasks to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
5. Post Implementation Support of Quorum ERP system across the organization.
6. Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
7. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
8. Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Board's Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary.
9. Oversee the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
10. Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
11. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
12. Oversee the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Master’s Degree or CPA is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role is required.
3. Proven experience with Power BI and Quorum ERP
4. Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
5. Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access.
6. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
7. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
8. Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
9. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
10. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
11. Professional written and oral communication skills.
12. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
13. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
14. Ability to delegate work responsibilities with the assurance of timely and accurate completion.
