We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our financial department, driving the success of our business by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You will be responsible for managing a variety of complex accounting tasks, including accruals, invoicing, payment processing, bank reconciliations, and credit/debit management. You will also play a key role in our month end and year end processes. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and posting monthly accruals and prepayments.
2. Managing the invoicing process, ensuring all invoices are accurate and sent out in a timely manner.
3. Processing payments and managing accounts receivable and payable.
4. Conducting regular bank reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies.
5. Managing credit and debit accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
6. Assisting with the month end and year end processes, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
7. Providing support to the billing team, as needed.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
9. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing new accounting procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Account Accountant position will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with a focus on accruals, invoicing, payment processing, bank reconciliations, and credit/debit management.
3. Experience with month end and year end processes.
4. Proven experience in a billing role.
5. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
6. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in accounting software.
10. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Experience working in the Commercial real estate industry.
