Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
*Must be able to work in our Brea office daily from 8:30am to 5pm*
- Contribute to month-end close process and general ledger for assigned facilities
- Prepare, review, and record journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and variance analysis
- Responsible for the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes and controls as well as compliance with external laws and regulatory guidance
- Assist with annual budget preparation and financial planning processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area of study
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience, big plus for experience with assisted living
- Strong knowledge of AP process
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
