We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic Senior Accountant to join our rapidly growing client in the data center space. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to work and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
This role is 100% remote, but candidates based in Texas will take priority.

Job Details
- Revenue Accounting including journal entries, contract review, and ASC 606 analysis.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
- Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing.
- Support the company in managing its loan portfolio.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Liaise with our CFO, VP-Accounting and Accounting Manager.
- Keep up with industry trends and developments to ensure company's accounting policy is up to date.
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
- Provide input into department’s goal setting process.
- Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a Big 4 firm is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of ASC 606 and experience with Private Equity is a must.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- NetSuite experience is a major plus
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
