Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of our financial data. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
2. Overseeing the annual budgeting process, developing comprehensive budgets, and monitoring performance against these budgets.
3. Conducting detailed financial forecasting to guide our business decisions, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
4. Coordinating with internal and external auditors, providing necessary information and facilitating audits.
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and tax filings.
6. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
7. Participating in special projects and performing ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
3. Proficiency in financial reporting, annual budgeting, and forecasting.
4. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
6. Proficiency in using advanced financial software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
