Job Summary
Job Qualifications
- Responsible for month-end and year-end closings of entities, as well as preparation of financial statements
- Responsible for the budget process and detailed account analysis
- Oversee monthly accruals, amortization, fixed assets depreciation, and recording of month-end journal entries
- Perform monthly general accounts analysis and reconciliations including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses
- Process cash receipts, invoicing, recording of revenue, and receivables and payables
- Maintain organized and detailed financial records and work papers
- Assist with the consolidation and eliminations
- Assist with technical accounting research
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
- Prepare and submit annual surveys required by the US Census Bureau
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field
- CPA and Public experience a plus
- 3+ years of accounting experience, experience in both private industry and public accounting a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, and Yardi is a plus
- Team player attitude with a collaborative working style
- Attention to detail, works efficiently with a focus on timeliness and accuracy
- Strong organizational, effective time management, and prioritization skills
