Senior Accountant

An international retail company that assists customers using their state of the art software.

The Senior Accountant will help manage all forms of financial accounting within the U.S. organization. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining accurate records for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Collections. Additionally, you will assist the Controller with the month & year end close process.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for AR/Collections processing and supervising
• Responsible for AP/expense processing
• Journal entry preparation
• Revenue/Expense Analysis and Reconciliation
• Collaborate with team members to provide necessary financial reports to senior-level managers
• Perform administrative and other tasks as needed
• AR system (Maxio) administrator
• AP system (Expensify) administrator
• Assist controller with month end/year end with multiple reconciliations and analysis
• Assist controller with ensuring all systems are integrating properly to Accounting system
• Work with Account Manager(s) to ensure contracts are administered accurately

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
3+ years of accounting experience

• Understand of GAAP accounting principles
• Familiarity with the following software programs a plus: Quickbooks, HubSpot, Maxio, Avalara, Expensify, Bill.com, Excel, Google platform
