Senior Accountant

One of the largest distribution companies in the US with over 25,000 products!

Reporting directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will perform various accounting and financial reporting duties in support of our clients locations across the US.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain fixed asset records for the company and all subsidiary companies, and process updates monthly while reconciling the general ledger to depreciation reports
• Preparation of monthly fixed asset and depreciation journal entries, ensuring they are accurate and timely
• Monthly reconciliation of all fixed asset general ledger accounts, including construction in progress
• Assistance with the review of monthly consolidated financial statements for all divisions
• Review and occasionally perform divisions’ balance sheet reconciliations, such as bank reconciliations
• Compile and calculate fringe benefits for the company
• Liaison and fulfill external financial audit requests during the year-end financial statement audit, serving as the main point of contact on fixed assets

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• Proficient with Excel (Pivot Tables, V Lookups, etc.)
