The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a preference for those with experience in software as a service (SaaS) and Netsuite. This role is integral to our team as it involves managing daily accounting operations, maintaining internal controls, and providing audit support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a preference for those with experience in software as a service (SaaS) and Netsuite. This role is integral to our team as it involves managing daily accounting operations, maintaining internal controls, and providing audit support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including vendor bills and payments, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, various general ledger maintenance, and monitoring the financials.
- Prepare financial reports for internal use by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls over accounting processes and procedures.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Provide audit support, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve financial transparency, and assist with strategic decision making.
- Stay updated on industry trends and current accounting standards to ensure the company's financial operations are in line with laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the tech services industry or a startup environment.
- Proficiency in Netsuite and other financial management software.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Proven experience in managing daily accounting operations.
- Solid understanding of internal controls and risk management.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex financial data to non-financial personnel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset to identify, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.
