Job Details


The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of duties including, but not limited to:

1. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
2. Developing and maintaining annual budgets, conducting regular budget reviews, and preparing detailed forecasts.
3. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
4. Analyzing financial data and providing insights to help drive business decisions.
5. Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, preparing tax returns, and coordinating audits.
6. Streamlining accounting functions and operations to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
7. Providing financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects when necessary.
8. Regularly evaluating the company's financial performance compared to its goals and plans, and preparing reports on its findings for management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position will have the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in financial accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a detailed understanding of financial trends and business practices.
6. Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system implementation.
7. Exceptional numerical proficiency with a keen eye for details, accuracy, and validity.
8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
