Our company, a leader in the Medical Services industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Accountant to join our team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, innovative environment, where you will play a critical role in driving our financial success. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of general ledger (GL) accounting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant standards. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage the general ledger (GL) accounting functions, including but not limited to, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
2. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
3. Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
4. Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and operations.
5. Implement and ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance requirements, and company policies.
6. Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing financial input and advice to company decision-makers.
7. Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
8. Support the finance team in special projects and workflow process improvements.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in GL accounting, preferably in the tech services industry.
3. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular strength in Excel.
4. Solid understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles and procedures.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
6. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing and mentoring a team.
