Job Details
Job Description
Assist with the development and maintenance of accounting systems for financial transactions.
Monitor company accounts and conduct monthly and quarterly reviews.
Maintain the general ledger, record cash receipts and financial transactions.
Reconcile bank, credit card accounts, and intercompany accounts.
Assist with AP and AR activities to support the team, including calls and emails to vendors/customers, and internal escalations as required for problem accounts.
Support team on month-end close procedures.
Maintain on-time payables and proper customer invoicing.
Prepare accounts receivable/payable reports - analyzing the data and recognizing trends.
Provide support and analysis for manufacturing and project cost analysis.
Provide accounting and financial support to management as needed.
Positive contributor to the team by supporting and executing projects as needed.
Prepare, support and response related to freight claims.
Occasional travel to other company branches to help train employees on proper accounting procedures.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
