The ideal Senior Accountant would be someone with public accounting experience and CPA, PE firm experience, and/or a strong progressive Accountant. Someone out of big 4, or top 100 accounting firm is preferred.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent position in the finance industry, offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end-close, mergers and acquisition, and journal entries. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization, providing strategic financial advice, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and receipts
  • Conduct month-end-close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, financial analysis, and integration activities
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and risk management
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, including GAAP and SOX
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end-close, mergers and acquisition, and journal entries
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Supervisory experience preferred
