Senior Accountant

We are a growing wastewater treatment company that's looking to hire a seasoned Accountant ASAP!

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day general ledger accounting for multiple entities, as assigned
• Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries and reports
• Prepare and analyze monthly general ledger account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items timely
• Assist in developing accounting policies and administer approved accounting procedures
• Support the annual budget and audit process
• Assist in preparing ad-hoc reporting
• Work closely with and support operational departments as needed
• Assist in reviewing coding of employee purchasing card transactions to ensure proper expense recognition
• Assist the Senior Accounting Manager and Controller on various projects as necessary

Qualifications:

• 2+ years professional experience within accounting field
• Working knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office software programs, with advanced Excel skill
