Summary:

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations within the company including but not limited to: Deposits, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory
• General Ledger maintenance including Balance Sheet and Income Statement reconciliations
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams and maintain Fixed Asset subsidiary ledger
• Prepare journal entries related to Sales, Inventory, Banking activity, Payroll, Accruals, and various other entries
• Prepare daily cash requirement reports and review reconciliations
• Manage the period-end and year-end financial closing activities
• Prepare Period End Financial Reports and Managerial Reports
• Support key financial statement analysis
• Collaborate with production staff to analyze Inventory Accounting Transactions to identify trends, variances, and potential issues
• Support the semi-annual bank and financial audits
• Prepare schedules for the income tax return
• Generate Ad Hoc reports and perform analytics focused on driving efficiencies and cost savings
• Support Management with the plant's budget planning
• Assist Management with time sensitive special projects

Seeking:

• 3+ years of Accounting/Finance experience.
• Plant accounting experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• Advanced Excel Skills, including knowledge of Pivot Tables and Data Lookup Formulas.
