This position will play a pivotal role in our finance department, providing support with various accounting activities including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and financial accounting. Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
2. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
3. Conduct regular ledger maintenance.
4. Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance.
5. Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documentation as required.
6. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
7. Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors; manage preparation and support of all external audits.
8. Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
9. Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.
10. Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review.
11. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

Job Details
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is strongly preferred.
3. Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
4. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. High proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g., SAP).
6. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
7. Excellent mathematical skills and an understanding of data privacy standards.
8. Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors.
9. Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
10. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
11. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
12. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
