Senior Accountant

Growing tire and automotive service center with locations all over the northeast! We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team!

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. You will work closely with the management team to provide financial insights and recommendations that will help drive the business forward.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
• Conduct monthly and yearly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
• Manage inventory accounting, including the recording of inventory purchases, sales, and adjustments.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the management team to help drive the business forward.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide ongoing analysis of actual results compared to budget.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of purchase orders, inventory accounting, and reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
