Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Preparing and consolidating financial statements.
2. Establishing and maintaining accounting practices to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations.
3. Conducting month-end and year-end closes.
4. Coordinating with tax accountants to optimize tax strategies and compliance.
5. Analyzing and reporting cost variances.
6. Serving as a key point of contact for external auditors; managing preparation and support of all external audits.
7. Coordinating with finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
8. Participating in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.
9. Ensuring compliance with all internal processes.
10. Evaluating accounting and internal control systems and implementing improvements.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Accountant role should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
3. Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge in Excel.
4. Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proven experience with month-end/year-end processes.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
7. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
