We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent position, offering an exceptional opportunity to contribute to our organization's financial growth and stability. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multi-site accounting, preparing and analyzing financial statements, overseeing costing, and handling audit and taxation matters. This role is integral to our finance department and requires a candidate who can thrive in a complex and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Managing financial activities across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
2. Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.
3. Conducting regular audits to verify financial information, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions for improvement.
4. Administering the company's tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submission in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
5. Overseeing costing processes, including calculating costs of goods sold, analyzing variances, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
6. Collaborating with various departments to develop budgets, financial plans, and forecasts.
7. Assisting with the development and implementation of accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Providing financial advice and guidance to management, contributing to decision-making processes and strategic planning.
9. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting and tax regulations, keeping the company informed of any changes that could impact business operations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Senior Accountant position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA designation is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the finance industry.
3. Proven experience with multi-site accounting, financial statement preparation, costing, audit, and taxation.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
5. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide recommendations.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial staff.
9. High level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
