Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly organized, adaptable problem solver with good communication skills to join our fast-growing small business. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing various accounting functions, including monthly budget oversight, AR and AP management, reconciliation of accounts, processing invoices, and contributing to the enhancement of our current accounting systems.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Month-end close.
• Reconcile all bank accounts and post related entries monthly.
• Manage prepaid, AR, AP, accrued, and fixed assets reconciliations.
• Support and oversee the monthly budget.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for various expenses.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and account analysis.
• Assign/verify proper account codes and receipts.
• Assist in processing invoices, check requests, and expense reports.
• Support the annual processing of 1099s for accurate and timely filing.
• Assist CEO and COO with general accounting tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Strong organizational and people skills.
• QuickBooks and any other accounting ERP system experience
