Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries for employee benefits and G&A accruals
  • Record and reconcile cash surrender values on life insurance and supplemental executive retirement plans
  • Process derivatives entries received from the Risk Department
  • Perform quarterly vacation accrual analysis and adjustments
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for benefit liabilities and other accounts
  • Assist FP&A with reclasses and monthly entry postings
  • Collaborate with Treasury, A/R, and A/P on bank reconciliation discrepancies
  • Participate in special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under deadlines
  • Flexible to work overtime during peak periods

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with S/4 HANA
  • Familiarity with BlackLine reconciliation software
  • Prior exposure to complex G&A accrual environments
  • Background working in fast-paced, high-volume corporate accounting departments
