Job Details
We are looking for a highly driven Senior Accountant to support domestic and international accounting operations.
Essential Functions:
· Prepare and/or review month-end journal entries, which includes but is not limited to: fixed asset reporting & depreciation, prepaid expense amortization, accrued expenses, accrued/deferred revenue, interest income
· Prepare and/or review bi-weekly payroll, calculations, data entry, reconciling, posting transactions
· Provide first approval of employee expense reports, reimbursements & payments
· Manage employee credit card expenses, reconciliation & payments
· Prepare/review/maintain balance sheet reconciliations
· Reconcile employee benefit accounts
· Maintain financial reports, records, & general ledger accounts
· Reconcile, file, and pay sales tax returns
· Reconcile office leases
· Review aged A/R for write-offs, refunds, & misapplications
· Record and/or serve as backup for daily cash transactions including cash application, reconciliation of payments to invoices, & issuance of refunds for overpayments
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in same work capacity
Professional appearance & demeanor for a professional office
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Working knowledge & understanding of GAAP
