We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced Accounting and Finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within our organization. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for driving financial success.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
2. Perform monthly account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
3. Oversee A/R, A/P, and ensure timely and accurate processing.
4. Assist with the implementation and management of ERP systems.
5. Prepare and present monthly financial reports for senior management.
6. Participate in the annual budgeting process and perform variance analyses.
7. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
8. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
9. Work on special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
10. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
4. Proven experience with ERP implementation and management.
5. Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
6. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
10. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
