Job Details

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the month-end close process by preparing schedules and reviewing reconciliations
  • Review customer contracts and fee setup to ensure proper accounting at the transactional level
  • Manage key customer billing relationships across all product lines
  • Document key financial processes and procedures for a successful audit
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Preparation of audit, review, and other supporting work papers
  • Preparation of tax returns and filings
  • Implementation of accounting policies to ensure financial statements are recorded based on GAAP
  • Assist with monthly forecasting and updating the budget on a regular basis
  • Maintain appropriate financial oversight through transaction monitoring and compliance
  • Coordinate and participate in other projects and perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA required
  • 2+ years of related Big 4 experience
  • Current understanding of GAAP including revenue recognition for SaaS based companies
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks Online
  • Ability to connect foundational accounting principles and journal entries to customer money movement and revenue recognition
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
