We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial data, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reports. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial data, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reports. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in driving our financial performance and making critical business decisions. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Maintain and manage the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and comply with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variance analyses.
- Assist in case management, including the preparation of financial data for audits, tax filings, and other regulatory reports.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with a focus on General Ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
- Experience with case management and compliance reporting.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior staff.
